Passing along an observation from another concerned American about the direction that the current WHO is taking this country.
//-------------------- …Or Else!
A dangerous precedent has recently been set. Our supreme leaders have declared, YOU WILL BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM PRIVATE INDUSTRY, OR ELSE YOU WILL BE PUNISHED!! Health insurance is an important thing to have, if YOU want it. But to be required to buy it? I don’t need a parent! I can make judgments and decisions for myself and my family! Our forefathers could ever have known we would all be cruising around in 4 wheeled petroleum powered machines everyday to work and back, at least, I don’t recall ever reading about it in the founding documents.
An argument could be made that driving is a privilege, not a right. Correct! It is a responsibility of each state to tell its people what is required to drive, this is why we have STATE driver’s licenses and not US ones. That being said, I have a grim prediction: Sooner rather than later, our rulers in DC will soon overstep its boundaries of power set by the US Constitution and trump the States’ sovereignty and require us to buy a certain kind of car. What will this car look like? Will it be economical? It won’t matter! For decades, Detroit and foreign makers have built tiny, underpowered cars that you can’t fit a family of 4 with luggage into, and what happened? People don’t buy them. But if our parents, I’m sorry, rulers, get their way, people will… or else! Say “Goodbye” to another right folks! That’s right, I have a feeling our federal government will have a little contest to see which car can be the smallest, least powered, and most crowded, then, with any luck, it might be affordable. But that’s not a requirement. Just like $800/month health insurance that you must buy for you and yours. What will this new “required car” look like? Well one thing is probable… it will be a union built GM. ---------------------/
Agreed Alan. ...This Administration and it's socialist minions thinks it knows better than you about your health care, the car you drive, and coming soon to Arizona, American border security. Makes me sick.
