So I am here in Dugway, Utah, for a few more days.Pete and I have hit some trails in the past few days. One place was to an attraction called "Lone Rock." We call it "Submarine Rock" because it looks like a submarine popping up out of the ground. This was on the 17th.
At one point, going up, it was very nearly straight up. We had the rock face for support on the right but jagged small ledges on the left. As we were getting ready to come down, I saw an ammo can sitting on a ledge above our head. Turns out to be a geocache! I took a patch from a boyscout group I think and left a business card from a guy that I work with. I was thoroughly unprepared to leave something of more significance, but it was cool anyway.

The 18th we went to Antelope Island on Salt Lake. That was a blast! We hit two trails; Buffalo point (itty bitty warm up) and Frary Peak trail (The big one). We ascended nearly 2000 feet to the highest point on the island (approximately 6400 feet). With the exception of Yosemite, I've never seen as AWESOME a view as we had climbing and getting up there. Our hands were swelling a bit and standing still to catch your breath became a chore. The reward was undeniably worth the effort and then some! I was able to record the trek on RunKeeper here:Frary Peak hike
