I woke up this morning and turned on the news: schools are closed, fed buildings closed, base mission essential reporting only till 10. They pushed that to 2pm at 9:30. Then at noon, they told everyone to just stay home.
Videos here, pictures here.

It's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow with plenty of sunshine so we'll see. Expecting more snow all day today. FUN FUN FUN!

So I got to go grab Becca so she can play in the snow with Katie and I. We had a sled from Germany still in the attic so I pulled it out. Blitzen pulled Becca for a while and he seemed to take right to it. It was so cool.
After that I pulled Katie and Becca around, flung them down the sidewalk (on the sled), threw snowballs, etc... Then Piper from across the street came over and joined in. Then a miracle! The 10 year old girl from the other side of the street joined us after we pretty much drug her over. She was just walking back and forth in the snow. She rarely comes out and her mom and grandparents keep her pretty much homebound. She's always been very closed off but she opened up quickly after we had some fun. Then it was all inside for hot chocolate and snacks. They're all playing hide and seek in the house right now.
Hope to see more of her whenever the girls are here. I hate it when kids can't join in play with other kids for whatever reason. I just hope it's because she's shy and not because her folks are messed up.
Any way. Good day today so far. Very good, rare, day of fu. I definitely got my exercise in today.
Kenny
