Kenny's little hole in the web...

2010, as some of you may have been aware was not the smoothest year. Previous years were rougher but 2010 was the transitional year. It was hard to get through, but well worth the effort. It was a year of change for me and the girls; changes in situation and direction.


I am still continuing with education. Last time I checked I was well over half finished with my general Bachelors. I took the winter quarter off to study for Master Sergeant. I test on Feb 24th. I’ll pick up classes for spring and then take the summer quarter off for vacation.

I’m not making any resolutions this year. What I will do is keep things I want to do/have/accomplish in the forefront of my thoughts. Maybe list them and put them around the house. Spend time with the girls, read more, end 2011 a better person than I am now, Credit Card (pay off, not use more, then cancel), save for emergency fund, learn guitar, work on the house, work on this website(design). That’s all I have right now.

I’m dipping into the dating scene again. I started with match.com. Met one woman, things didn’t work out; it was a big eye opener for me. Since that’s a pay site, I killed that account. I’m no dating machine, never have been big on that. I can’t afford it and it’s not me. Anyway, I’ll be happy with or without another body to stay warm with (but I’d prefer a special woman to make it all much warmer).

I’m making plans to go home in July with the girls. Nothing firm yet still getting cost issues looked at. I’m looking at July 1st to July 15th. We’ll be taking an Allegiant Air plane to Vegas, pick up a rental car, stay the night then drive in the next day. I may play rental car tag for a bit but go to Mom’s for a few days, then to Dad’s then back to Mom’s back to Vegas and back home here. All of this is cost dependent. I’m planning on using my tax refund to fund it but I have to get an estimate for that.
